Checkmate Analytics is a complete picture intelligence service drawing more than 30 years of experience in multi-sourced information gathering and collection including the ability to design highly sophisticated projects to model real life outcomes. Checkmate has the skill base to bring a whole of game strategy to the table to maximise your chances of success.

We are a business and political intelligence group with a background in psychology, statistics, economics, sociology survey research, marketing, business and finance, advertising and media

Every day we are bombarded with a never-ending stream of facts and figures – some of them important – most irrelevant. Yet we take it all in and somehow try to make sense of our rapidly changing world. It is foolish to think that this endless stream of propaganda and advertising, true life events and realty TV, praise and abuse is not going to influence the decisions we make. It does.
So Checkmate Analytics decided to log the noise that feeds into our decision making by revisiting its vast attitudinal database and creating a “mind map” on which we can identify the things in our heads which may be influencing the decisions we make about the things we buy, support and do. These things may be completely independent of the conscious reasons we give for our actions such as product benefits or service features. For example, it may be hard for the retail electricity and gas industries to appreciate the real reasons that, in spite of endless surveys on customer satisfaction, people just don’t like them. Well at least not in any of the surveys we have carried out. They are not the only ones but simply an example of what is going on. We know why and the answer can be found in our mind map.
This is not unusual any more. It is the 21st century and things are different. But all organisations whether corporations, Not for Profits or NGO’s must today recognise that their basic business model is no longer enough. Actions need also to be tested against three other important strategic pillars i.e. the social impact their decisions have, the political landscape in which they are operating and the media itself e.g. how it is likely to portray those decisions?
